While I want a QB, I would also be happy with a trade down. For example, the Bills trade their two first round picks to the Broncos for the 5th pick. The Bills then trade the 5th pick and two subsequent first rounders to the Giants for the second pick (similar to the RG3 trade). With the fifth pick, the Giants would be in position to take Chubb or Nelson and would be set up with two first rounders in the next two drafts.

I agreed with your assessment at the time.  I was highly suspicious of Sean Peyton's motives.  It's not like him to trash a QB class -- and so he did for a reason -- he wants one of them.

The only spot IMO to trade back to is 5 with Denver. If Browns truly go with Mayfield all reports say Elway's 2 guys are Mayfield and Darnold. Trade the 2nd pick for the 5th pick plus Denver's 2nd, one of their 3rd's one of their 4th's and a future 1st. Giants then get to pick from the 2 guys left over from Barkley/Chubb/Nelson that Cleveland takes with the 4th. That's the only spot i'm comfortable with trade back to since it still lands us one of the best talents in the draft while collecting some big time draft capital.

Is there a legit source for this or is it just another one out of the thousand draft rumors going on today? What makes this rumor more believable than the others? It’s funny how when you hear a rumor that you agree with, it all of a sudden becomes true.

Browns choose someone other than Darnold # 1 overall. If Giants really dont want Darnold, they then threaten the Jets that they will trade with Buffalo. Jets trade Giants their 3rd round pick to swap with Giants and keep Bills from stealing the QB they crave. Giants walk away with additional high 3rd rounder for nothing...

Watching the red carpet stuff but haven't seen Sequen Barkley. I may have missed it. A couple of observations. Michael Irvin sucks at what he does. Melissa Starks too much make-up, trying to hide her age. She just tried to talk to one of the little kids on the red carpet and the little kid didn't answer her back. NFL Network really stinks at programming.

The big issue concerning the pre-draft stuff is Sequen Barkley's father. Did his probation officer allow him to travel to Dallas. Were the Dallas police notified? Did the NFL hire more security due to his presence?  I'm waiting to see if Sequen Barkley's father is there.

Bummer, I see Josh Allen, and his parents, but his hot girlfriend isn't with him on the red carpet.  Josh Allen is a likeable fellow.  If the Giants take him at 2, I would be so happy.
