Conrad comes to mind. At this point it's a little hard to tell who the bubble guys are. WR is going to be interesting. I've got Shepard, Latimer, R Shepard, Fowler, and Tate, none of whom I consider a bubble guy. The last Wr spot will be interesting. Probably Slayton. Russell is an impressive specimen; but, I question his route running. There were two pickoffs today in practice on his targets. He also should have had some catches in the game that he just didn't seem to be in the right spot for. He's definitely on the bubble, and I can't see them keeping 7. One of these guys could stick around for the first four games to take Tate's spot; but then, I think either Russell or Slayton get the boot. They invested a pick in Slayton, so I think Russell is the odd man out.
It would be a mistake to cut slayton. He is the only guy on the roster that can blow the top off a defense. Not only is he the fastest player on the team, but he has good size to match.
Our offense could use his 4.3 speed to stretch the field so they can’t just sit in the box for SB. IMO dude needs to be given some first team reps. I think he has hidden gem written all over him. You should always go back and look at when cruz made his mark, it was ONLY b/c of injury to Hixon. If it wasn’t for that, Cruz woulda rode the bench most of the year b/c the coaches didnt truly know what they had. Don’t make that mistake with Slayton.

tough question mainly because so many are unproven so I have no baseline. Cant argue with Connely and the WR group looks crowded with a bunch of guys who could fill roles for the NYG. The next 3 preseason games will make this whole question a little clearer for me.
Beyond Eli and Daniel, how many and who they keep at the QB spot is also an interesting thing to keep an eye on. Beyond that, there are too many TE's around and they just added another one today. "The Giants signed TE Jake Powell, who played at Monmouth (NJ). Powell was recently waived by the Saints."

rodney27: You're right about the fumbling problem, tl65taog. I just don't think it can be fixed. He had in preseason, has it at a record pace now, and had the same problem at Duke. If he hasn't fixed it in all that time...I just don't know if he can.
