I kinda had a hunch he would struggle vs the Vikings and Patriots. Both teams have very good fronts and the Giants are struggling with protection from both our tackle positions. Not making excuses for Jones but you factor in 2 good defenses with good pass rush along with poor protection and almost no running game it’s a lot for a young QB with 4 games experience under his belt to carry. Latimer has disappeared from this offense and that was his problem in Denver. Slayton has leap frogged him I think. Patriots Gabe Jones a lot of different looks and it appeared his clock was in light speed last night
Look for him to bounce back vs the Cardinals. He still shows what your looking for in a franchise QB
Agree Laz. No diss on Eli but I said "what would Eli have looked like" in both situations.
I think we would have seen more sacks with Eli but less turnovers. He would have dumped the ball off last night for example to Penny5 yards out when DJ threw an INT to Ellison
2 top D's. Without much to work with on offense too much and our best athlete missing.
I am concerned aobut our OL. Its improved for sure . But I only feel good about our Guards. We could upgrade the other 3 spots with RT and LT and Center Can't do it all at once but I am hoping Big George on IR can plug a hole at RT and we draft or go FA with the 2 other spots to build back up the OL. Stuck with Solder for 2020

This far I'm pleased with the potential I've seen from DJ. He has made mistakes but those have come against two pretty darn good defenses and while missing his best weapons behind an average Oline. Some of the mistakes we've seen are rookie issues and he will hopefully learn from them but he has talent for sure.

uther99: The Oline is just too bad to compete. If you max protect, how many WRs go out, 2? That's 2 WRs against 7 defenders, good luck.
