Draft order tiebreaker. If we win. We need colts to win. then we are 2nd pick.
If colts lose. Then we're tied. The tiebreaker is this to begin.
"Overall ties are then broken by strength of schedule, which is a calculation of the combined record of all of a team's opponents in that year, with divisional opponents counting twice. The next tie breaker would be record against conference opponents and then divisional opponents."
We are 3rd in the ranking of strength of schedule. Colts are 29th.
So its ok to root to win.
We get the 2nd pick even if we win.
In my 60 years as a giant fan this is what's it come too.
And its the losingist season ever.
So don't call me negative nellie I just found a reason to root and be a giant fan today considering this abysmal season.
You have it backwards. The Giants strength of schedule is tougher so the Giants get the worst pick. The Colts have an easier schedule so they're perceived as the worse team. The Giants have to lose.
“It’s about winning and I’ve seen someone told one of the reporters I’m in the teardown,’’ Gettleman said recently. “We’re not spending $62.5 million on Nate Solder, spending the money on [28-year-old guard] Patrick Omameh, we’re not trading for Alec Ogletree. If it’s a teardown, we’re not doing that. We evaluated the roster, we’ve developed a plan moving forward. It’s about winning now. Who wants to lose? I don’t.’’ - Big Dave
freide: As buts go I would put flowers in the Ron Dayne's class.

uther99: The Oline is just too bad to compete. If you max protect, how many WRs go out, 2? That's 2 WRs against 7 defenders, good luck.
