Finley= most pro ready QB in the draft, but a weaker than usual arm(borderline unacceptable). If he had a stronger arm he would be a very serious top QB candidate as he checks every other box. Do they think they can teach him to drive the ball better?
W.Grier= the most underrated QB in the draft according to some(including pff) who think he is one of the best Qbs in this draft
A good parameter to measure DG's draft by: Barkley, Hernandez, and Hill were among the 47 rookies with 600+ snaps. Barkley's PFF grade was 85.9. Hill had a PFF grade of 69.7 and Hernandez was 65.8. Hernandez's pass blocking grade was 73.1. Hill's run defense and pass rush grades were over 70. His pass coverage grade pulled him just below 70. Carter had over 400 snaps had a coverage grade of 85. His overall grade of 65.8 was pulled down by 60ish grades for run defense and pass rush.
Mike Renner @pff_Mike 38m Annual reminder that you probably shouldn't pin your team's hopes to the players they draft this weekend.
Only 47 rookies played 600+ snaps last year and of those only 15 had PFF grades over 70.0. So not even half the teams in the NFL get an impact starter.
Listening to Boston sports talk radio today, they are convinced a team is going to trade back into the 1st round to get a QB at 31 or 32. The extra 5th year on that rookie deal is huge for drafting young QBs. The Rams and Pats will both be receiving multiple offers at the end of the first round. They specifically mentioned the Giants, Skins, and Broncos as potential trade partners. Especially if Daniel Jones is still on the board. Belicheck won't hesitate to trade out of the first round and acquire even more picks.

rodney27: You're right about the fumbling problem, tl65taog. I just don't think it can be fixed. He had in preseason, has it at a record pace now, and had the same problem at Duke. If he hasn't fixed it in all that time...I just don't know if he can.
