Crazy prediction of the day...The Giants trade UP to #3 to pick the OT that they really want.
There has been some talk of Miami being interested in OT with their first pick and waiting to go QB with one of their other 1st rounders. Also that Miami may trade with Detroit to jump over the Giants and grab their OT.
This maybe my best mock yet. Doubt it ever happens. Jaguars trade up to 4 and we take 9 and 20. I solve edge at 20 with Epenesa and OT at 9 with Wills. Round to I trade back again Browns wanted McKenny so I took there 10 in round 2 and there 3rd round pick. Got Ruiz and Davis. So I got our FS there. Gay also fell to me. Picked him up. There is our other OLB for coverage. Robinson also was there in round 4. There is our NCB. Walla

I'm getting a little nervous. For months i was thinking, the draft would be tough to screw up. But some rumors we are hearing sound pretty crazy. Also, some of the mocks done by the media are flat out awful.
Also, last year we found ourselves sounding like owls a lot. After some of the picks, we were like
The draft appears to have turned out good, except for all the players where we made the owl sound. The only Who that was good was connely and I actually only did a 'half a "who?"' on him 'cause I had come across him in the media.
I'm hoping to not once say the owl "Who" sound this year. lol "Half a 'Who?'" I can live with. lol
If you hear me say "Who?" , it's probably a bad sign. lol
To me, trading up would be absolutely ridiculous. There are four really highly rated tackles. If Miami decides to trade all the way up to 3 and take one, then take the next best one on your list. You cannot trade away more draft capital for an OT. Its not like there is one that is clearly rated above all the others. All four are pretty close and if you want to really get picky the top two are probably Wills and Thomas. Do NOT trade up. Call Miami's bluff and stay at 4. If they trade up for a tackle, so be it. Stay at 4, take the top tackle on your board and move on.

As for my pick, officially .....Andrew Thomas. He played LT in college, was very good at it, has the size, strength and feet you want for a LT. And yes, I expect the 4th overall pick to play LT for me, not RT and not guard. LT is the position I want filled with this pick.

Carson53: Good for Andrew and good for us. Given everything it would really suck to miss on a #4 overall pick at LT. Guys like that are supposed to be solid picks and he is.
